Description

X: The Sentinel surveyed the sea of carnage and viscera that the plain had become. It watched these small beings continue to slaughter each other even into the battle’s twilight. It heard the afflicted cries of the wounded mercifully cut short by the blades of their comrades and smelled the inevitable rot of the carrion birds’ ample feast at its feet. The Sentinel witnessed all of these things, briefly returned its gaze to Farinfoor, and gently stepped aside.
